ARLINGTON - The Dallas Cowboys are doing lots of things right in holding a 27-7 halftime lead here at AT&T Stadium over the Philadelphia Eagles in this Sunday night showdown. But kicker Brett Maher may have just topped 'em all.

Maher becomes the first kicker in NFL history with three field goals of at least 60 yards in his career with this 63-yarder at the end of the half to give the Cowboys the 20-point lead over the Eagles.

Both NFC East rivals entered with records of 3-3, and both need every break they can catch. The Cowboys have managed to do most of that (read more in our halftime report here) but amid a host of emotional and scoreboard boosts, not much can equal a record-setting field goal.

Maher has been beleaguered at times, but full props here to all involved, including the decision from head coach Jason Garrett, the supervision of special-teams coach Keith O'Quinn, holder Chris Jones and, well, all of them.

Here's the conventional look ... nice enough for Cowboys Nation.

But above: A CowboysSI.com special ... a unique look ... even nicer.

Maher joins the company of NFL kickers Zeurlein and Janikowski as guys with multiple 60-yarders.
