'We've Got Great Problem-Solvers!' Dak Prescott Reacts To Dallas Cowboys as 'Jekyll and Hyde'

The Dallas Cowboys came undone against the Buffalo Bills as their poor road record, coupled with costly penalties, ultimately led to an ugly 31-10 loss.

The Dallas Cowboys have done their best "Jekyll and Hyde'' impersonation over the last two weeks. Last week, at home, Dallas laid a beatdown to the Philadelphia Eagles. But this week, against the Buffalo Bills, on the road, the Cowboys were the ones on the receiving end of a pummeling.

The Cowboys have been the capable Dr. Jekyll when playing in the luxurious confines of AT&T Stadium - in fact, they are 15-1 there over the course of two seasons.

But when faced with a talented opponent on the road, the unflattering Mr. Hyde has a tendency to show himself - and he did at Highmark Stadium.

"We've got great problem-solvers,'' insisted QB Dak Prescott after a loss at puts the Cowboys at 3-4 on the road this yeart and over the course of two years, at 7-8 away from home. "It's about finding those answers.''

We don't know if Dallas employs "great problem-solvers'' on this issue. (If so, you'd think they would've brainstormed their way out of this mess over the course of two years.)

But at least Dak is conceding that there is a "problem'' to be "solved.''

The Cowboys, who gifted the Bills 18 of their 21 first-half points thanks to costly defensive and special-teams penalties, also let James Cook run wild. ... to the tune of 179 yards and a touchdown on 25 carries, while also catching two passes for 42 yards and a touchdown.

For Cowboys quarterback Prescott, who himself didn't have his best outing (21 of 34, 134 yards, one interception), the difference between performances at home and on the road is, again, concerning.

"It's a huge difference (between Dallas at home and on the road), and, really, that's what these next couple weeks are about is figuring out that difference, and trying to close that gap," said Prescott. "We want to come out and start how we do at home, and that's just not been the case. We've gotta find out what those answers are. We can't be two different teams.''

Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott says the gap between performances at home compared to on the road has to close.

After being on a five-game winning streak, the Cowboys were brought back to earth with an embarrassing thud as several warts that have plagued the team, again chose an in-opportune time to show themselves.

Penalties and the inability to stop the run were the catalysts for the Cowboys' brutal loss, and it was how Dallas lost that could leave many questioning how far this team can go in the playoffs, considering there's a good chance they will be on the road for its entirety.

"Jekyll and Hyde'' vs. "The Problem-Solvers''? Y'all have your hands full.
