In this story:

New York Giants tight end Darren Waller, freshly activated off injured reserve, is active for the team's Week 15 game against the New Orleans Saints. Waller, who has missed the last five games with a hamstring injury that landed him on injured reserver, is expected to be on a pitch count this week.

Despite his five-week absence, Waller, listed as questionable on the injury report, is second on the team in receptions (36) and receiving yards (384).

Giants interior defensive lineman Dexter Lawrence (hamstring) is also active for the Giants, having made it through a limited week of practice with no setbacks. Lawrence, who returned to action last week after missing the previous game due to his injury, will likely continue being on a pitch count with the Giants coming off the short work week.

Offensive tackle Evan Neal (ankle), who had been listed as doubtful for this week after going through a limited week of practice, is inactive for the Giants. Neal hasn't played since Week 9 against the Raiders.

Joining him on the Giants' inactive list are receiver Parris Campbell, running back Jashaun Corbin, defensive back Gervarrius Owens, and outside linebacker Boogie Basham--the same five players who were inactive for the Giants against the Packers on Monday night.

The Saints will be without two key starters in offense due to injuries. Receiver Chris Olave (ankle) and tackle Ryan Ramczyk (knee), both listed as questionable on this week's injury report, are inactive.

They join defensive end Isaiah Foskey (quad) and running back Kendre Miller (ankle), both of whom were declared out Friday. The rest of the Saints' inactive list includes outside linebacker Monty Rice and cornerback Cameron Dantzler. Jake Haenser is the third quarterback.
