The Giants have released undrafted rookie free agent linebacker Jake Carlock from their practice squad. Carlock had two tackles, one sack, one interception, one quarterback hit and one pass defensed in the preseason.
In other news, the Giants restructured tight end Rhett Ellison's contract. According to ESPN's Field Yates, the Giants converted $1,876,765 of Ellison's base salary into a signing bonus, creating $938,382 in cap space.
