New York Giants defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence missed a second straight practice Thursday as he deals with a hamstring strain.

Lawrence, who has never missed a game due to injury in his Giants career, could be in jeopardy of missing Sundy's game against the Patriots unless the team is simply holding him out due to precautionary reasons.

Head coach Brian Daboll was unavailable to speak to the media on Thursday before the team's earlier practice session on Thanksgiving. But it will be worth watching to see if Lawrence can do limited work on Friday or if the team is simply holding him back.

There were several other changes to the Giants' Thursday injury report. Defensive back TRe Hawkins (shoulder), linebacker Bobby Okereke (rib/hip), defensive lineman A'Shawn Robinson (back), and receiver Darius Slayton (neck) were all listed as limited participants.

Hawkins and Robinson are new additions to the injury report, whereas Okereke and Slayton were upgraded to limited after not practicing on Wednesday.

Running back Saquon Barkley (rest-not injury related), running back Eric Gray (ankle), defensive back Adoree' Jackson (concussion), defensive Bobby McCain (illness), offensive lineman Tyre Phillips)knee), receiver Sterling Shepard (hip), and offensive lineman Andrew Thomas (knee) were all listed as full participants.

Jackson, who has been in the protocol for the last two weeks, advanced to the contact portion. He will likely undergo an evaluation with an independent consultant to gain final clearance from the protocol before Sunday's game.

Gray is currently on injured reserve but could be activated by Saturday's 4:00 p.m. deadline as the Giants have a roster opening. The Giants will also need to add Randy Bullock or another kicker to their 53-man roster after trimming Cade York from the roster earlier this week.

McCain, who last week was a late addition to the injury report with an illness, was added back in.

The Giants host the New England Patriots on Sunday at 1:05 p.m. Here is the updated injury report from Thursday (bold denotes a change from Wednesday's report).
