The New York Giants have picked up where they left off last week--and not in a good way.

The New York Giants have been outscored 60-0 through six quarters of football as the Arizona Cardinals jumped out to a 20-0 halftime lead in their game at State Farm Stadium.

After the Cardinals' opening drive ended in a failed 55-yard field goal attempt by kicker Matt Prater, it was all Arizona.

The Cardinals took advantage of two Giants defensive penalties, including a late hit called against safety Xavier McKinney and 12 men on the field, to score their first offensive touchdown of the season.

Running back James Conner capped an 86-yard, 9-play drive with a four-yard touchdown run up the middle.

The Cardinals made it 14-0 on a 23-yeard scramble up the middle by quarterback Josh Dobbs. The touchdown run was the longest run of his career and Dobbs' first rushing touchdown of his career, the score capping a 7-play, 80-yard scoring drive.

Prater would later succeed on field goals of 37 and 44 yards, the 44-yarder giving the Cardinals their 20-0 lead at the half.

The Giants, as was the case last week in their 40-0 loss to Dallas last week, had more deja vu when, after appearing to settle into a drive, quarterback Daniel Jones's pass intended for Saquon Barkley when off the running back's hands and was picked off by safety Jalen Thompson to give the Cardinals 1st-and-10 on the GIants' 34-yard line.

The Giants, who have been outscored 98-7 since their last winning effort last year in the Wild Card round against the Minnesota Vikings, recorded two three-and-out series in the first half.

The defense wasn't much better, allowing 241 total yards, 95 of which came on the ground while recording three of the Giants' four accepted penalties in the first half.

Even head coach Brian Daboll, who had been successful in his limited challenges, missed on one, losing the first challenge of his head coaching career when he questioned whether a 3rd-and-5 reception to Cardinals receiver Rondale Moore was complete.
