Giants vs Dolphins: How to Watch, Odds, History and More

In this story:
The New York Giants 2023 season has gotten off to a rough start. They’re 1-3 after a quarter into the season, with seemingly no answers or fight that they displayed early on in the year during 2022. There are problems across the board, and they showed in last week’s matchup against Seattle.
Whether it was the offense barely being able to function, defense missing tackles, or special teams committing foolish penalties, the Giants weren’t prepared at all coming off of 11 days of rest. Many are wondering what happened to the team that showed so much promise last season. It’s certainly not looking good as the Giants head south, literally, to face the red-hot Miami Dolphins.
Interestingly enough, this will be the Giants first 1 p.m. game this season. Nevertheless, they’ll have to face the top offense in the league currently. Miami, led by quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, is looking to bounce back this week after a 48-20 loss to the Bills last week.
The Dolphins are two weeks removed from putting up 70 points in their win against the Dolphins if the Giants can’t contain the high-powered Dolphins offense, who are averaging over 500 yards of offense and 37.5 points per game, both first in the NFL.
On the flip side, Miami’s defense is allowing 29.8 points per game to go along with 374.5 total yards allowed. It doesn’t mean much if the Giants offense can’t do their jobs correctly. Seattle’s defense wasn’t great either, but they completely dismantled the Giants on Monday night. Could this be the game where the offense finally shows some life for more than two quarters? We’ll have to wait and see.
