Giants - Bucs Gameday Inactives & Analysis

There's good news and bad news in this week's Giants game-day inactives.
The good news is the team is getting receivers Sterling Shepard (concussion) and Darius Slayton (hamstring) back.
Shepard, of course, can play both as the slot receiver or on the outside and is also a strong downfield blocker. Slayton will hopefully give the Giants a deep threat presence.
The bad news is that the other starting receiver, Cody Latimer, has been ruled out due to a concussion. Latimer has been starting for the Giants while Golden Tate serves his 4-game suspension.
The Giants leading receivers so far this year have been tight end Evan Engram, who has 17 receptions for 164 yards and a touchdown, and receiver Bennie Fowler, who came into this weekend's game listed as questionable with a hamstring strain that developed in Wednesday's practice.
Fowler is active for this week's game and will get the start at receiver in place of the inactive Latimer.
The rest of the Giants inactive list includes quarterback Alex Tanney, guard Chad Slade, tackle Eric Smith, tight end Garrett Dickerson, tight end Kaden Smith, and defensive back Julian Love.
Love has played just seven snaps so far, all on special teams. He had a decent preseason but has been unable to get on the field for the defense.
Also as previously announced by the Giants, Eli Manning will be the No. 2 quarterback on the depth chart, behind new starter Daniel Jones.
The Bucs will be without rookie linebacker Devin White (knee), who suffered his injury in last week's win over the Panthers. White, the Bucs' first-round draft pick this year, has eight total tackles, four of which are solo.
Here is the full list of the Bucs' inactive players.
