New York Giants at Arizona Cardinals: How to Watch, Odds, History and More

In this story:
After a rough Week 1 outing, the New York Giants are looking to quickly right the ship this weekend in Arizona. The Giants were outplayed and embarrassed by the division rival Dallas Cowboys, who left with a 40-0 statement victory.
The loss certainly left a bad taste in the mouth of every Giants player, but luckily, it was one game, and the Giants will get another chance to show that last week’s performance doesn’t define who they are as a team. It begins by taking care of business against the Arizona Cardinals for the start of a mini West Coast road trip.
The Giants and Cardinals were in the headlines together a few weeks before the regular season, as the teams agreed to trade that brought linebacker Isaiah Simmons to the Giants in exchange for a 2024 seventh-round draft pick sent to the Cardinals. Simmons will face his former team, with an expected increase in his role.
The bigger storyline for the Giants is if they’ll be able to create any type of rhythm. The offensive line, in particular, needs a strong showing after being completely dominated by the Cowboys' uber-talented defensive front.
The passing game was never able to get going, with quarterback Daniel Jones constantly under pressure. The offense also turned the ball over three times on two interceptions (one returned for a Pick-6) and a fumble.
The Giants never recovered from a disastrous end to their first drive, which resulted in the Cowboys blocking a field goal and returning it for a touchdown. They were outplayed in all three facets of the game and will need a strong performance against Arizona to bounce back.
