Terri-blue: Cowboys Take a 26-0 Halftime Lead Over the Giants

In this story:
East Rutherford, N.J.- The Dallas Cowboys scored 20 out of their 26 first-half points against the New York Giants off miscues, taking a comfortable 26-0 first-half lead in their Sunday Night Football game against the New York Giants.
Half of the Cowboys' points came on first-quarter miscues by the Giants, starting with kicker Graham Gano's 45-yard field goal attempt being blocked by Juanyeh Thomas and scooped up and returned 58 yards for the touchdown by Noah Iggbinoghene to give the Cowboys a 6-0 lead.

After a 21-yard field goal by Cowboys kicker Brandon Aubrey made it a 9-0 game, the Cowboys cashed in again on another Giants miscue.
This one came on 3rd-and-19 when Giants quarterback Daniel Jones's pass intended for running back Saquon Barkley was intercepted by cornerback DaRon Bland and returned 22 yards for the touchdown, giving the Cowboys a 16-0 Cowboys lead with 2:22 left in the first quarter.
After Aubrey made it a 19-0 game with 10:55 in the second quarter on a 38-yard field goal, the Giants, on their fifth possession of the game, coughed up the ball again when Jones threw an ill-advised pass to tight end Darren Waller that Stephon Gilmore intercepted.
The Cowboys, who began that drive on the Giants' 38-yard line following the turnover, got into the end zone on running back Tony Pollard's 2-yard touchdown run to make it a 26-0 game.
The Giants' only true scoring opportunity came with 1:05 left in the first half on a 36-yard field goal attempt that Gano rushed, the kick falling short of the crossbar.
