Giants Re-sign Offensive Lineman Jack Anderson

In this story:
The New York Giants announced they have re-signed offensive lineman Jack Anderson, who was set to be an exclusive rights free agent (ERFA). Anderson, who just finished his first season in the NFL, will make an estimated $870,000 in 2023.
Anderson, a 6-foot-5 and 315-pound 24-year-old interior offensive lineman, was a seventh-round pick by the Bills in 2021. After failing to make the Bills roster, he was signed by the Eagles, for whom he played in two games with one start before landing the 2021 season on injured reserve.
Anderson was waived by the Eagles at the end of training camp last year and was awarded via waivers to the Giants. He appeared in 12 games with two starts, one of which was in the Week 18 regular-season finale against the Eagles.
He contributed to both guard spots for the Giants and did some inline tight end snaps with the Giants' jumbo package.
According to Pro Football Focus, Anderson allowed six pressures in 148 snaps. His return gives the Giants some additional experienced depth on the offensive line.
The 24-year-old Anderson is the second of the team's four ERFAs to re-sign with the club, joining tight end Lawrence Cager, who was signed Monday. Offensive lineman Wyatt Davis and receiver Isaiah Hodgins are the other two ERFAs yet to re-sign with the club.
