The New York Giants, who didn't address the outside linebacker position in the draft, decided to bring back a familiar face to beef up the unit.

That would be Oshane Ximines, the team's third-round draft pick in 2019. Ximines, who had been an unrestricted free agent, isn't known to have drawn any interest from around the league and returns to the team on a one-year deal to continue his NFL career.

Ximines, 6-foot-4 and 253 pounds appeared in 15 games for the Giants last year, recording two sacks, 24 tackles, three tackles for a loss, and eight quarterback hits. In four seasons, he's appeared in 45 games with nine starts and has 67 tackles, nine tackles for a loss, and 22 quarterback hits with six pass breakups and a forced fumble.

Ximines, acquired with the draft pick the Giants obtained from the Browns in the Odell Beckham Jr, has played one complete season in his four in the league, that in 2019 as a rookie. He was limited to four games in his second season due to a shoulder injury.
