Giants Sign Three of Their Drafted Rookies Prior to First Minicamp Practice

The New York Giants have signed three draft picks-- fifth-round running Eric Gray, sixth-round cornerback Tre Hawkins, and seventh-round safety Gervarrius Owens--to their rookie deals.
According to estimates by Over the Cap, Gray's four-year deal is worth approximately $4.084 million, including a $244,984 signing bonus. He will count for $811,246 against this year's cap.
Hawkins's four-year deal is worth an estimated $3.989 million, including a $149,520 signing bonus, and his first-year cap figure is $787,380.
And Owens's four-year deal is worth roughly $3.967 million, including a $77,780 signing bonus, with his first-year cap hit being $769,445.
The Giants will open approximately $6 million in cap space once defensive lineman Dexter Lawerence II signs his new four-year, $90 million extension later today.
