The New York Giants might not be done adding veteran help to their linebacker corps just yet.
Veteran Deion Jones, who spent the first six years of his career with the Falcons before moving on to the Browns last year, is set to pay a visit to East Rutherford on Monday, according to NFL insider Ian Rapoport.

Jones, a 2017 Pro Bowl selection, has quite a productive career history. He's appeared in 96 regular-season games with 88 starts and has recorded 696 tackles, 12 interceptions(with five going for touchdowns), 47 pass breakups, and 11 sacks. He's also forced five fumbles, has 46 tackles for a loss, and 23 quarterback pressures.
Jones has appeared in at least 15 games in his NFL seasons except for 2017 with Atlanta when he was limited to six games, and last season with the Browns when he played in just 11 games. A second-round pick by the Falcons in 2016 out of LSU, the 6-foot-1, 222-pounder missed part of the 2018 season with a foot injury.
Jones was placed on injured reserve to start last season. He was then traded to the Browns along with a 2024 seventh-round draft pick in exchange for a 2024 sixth-round pick.
The Giants signed Bobby Okereke from the Colts and re-signed Jarrad Davis to bolster their depth at inside linebacker. According to Over the Cap, they currently are in the red in effective cap space ($653,731) but have $2,299,392 of total space available.
