Lions GM Brad Holmes Picks Up Tab for Ron "Crackman" Crachiola

Lions have the coolest general manager in the NFL.

The Detroit Lions have a group of loyal fans who are present at each and every game, even traveling long distances when the team plays on the road.

Ron "Crackman" Crachiola is among the most recognizable fans, regularly stopping and taking photographs with other supporters who have come to know his signature line: "Who Loves Ya Baby?"

The Lions have regularly honored the longtime fan, who has gone viral on multiple occasions for singing the fight song on plane trips to watch his favorite team.

Appearing on "Ermanni and Edwards with Maz" Thursday afternoon, Crachiola shared live that Lions general manager Brad Holmes picked up his tap at a local bar the evening prior to the Lions facing the Packers at Lambeau Field.

Detroit's third-year general manager has become one of the most popular executives in Motown, as he celebrated just as passionately as fans when the team surprisingly won its opener against the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium.

Playing in primetime

Quarterback Jared Goff, who has had success playing in primetime, shared this week with reporters why he enjoys playing in front of a nationally-televised audience.

"Yeah, it’s fun. It’s cool to be the only guy on TV and to know that you’re able to showcase your talents, your team and who you guys are for the whole league," said Goff. "But, yeah, it is tough at times when the game is that late and on the west coast, they were 5:15 starts I believe, or whatever. (Starting at) 6:15 helps a little bit. But, yeah, we’ll be alright.”

Practice-squad elevations

The team announced hours prior to the game it's elevated offensive tackle Connor Galvin and safety Brandon Joseph from the practice squad.

Joseph was elevated last week against the Falcons.

Galvin and rookie Colby Sorsdal are likely insurance for the offensive line, given the fact that Taylor Decker is returning from a high ankle sprain.
