Top 5: Detroit Lions Player Power Rankings

The Lions lost what some deemed "a must-win game" on Monday night against the Green Bay Packers, and now stand at 2-2-1.
Going into Sunday's NFC North contest with the Minnesota Vikings (4-2), here are your Detroit Lions player power rankings:
5. K Matt Prater
Prater has been perfect on his last eight field-goal tries, dating back to the Lions' Week 4 matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs.
He accounted for 15 of the Lions' 22 points in Week 6, going 5-for-5 against the Packers on Monday Night Football.
4. WR Kenny Golladay
The third-year receiver has totaled nearly 200 reception yards in his last two games (188 yards; 67 against the Chiefs in Week 4 and 121 in Week 6 against the Packers).
Averaging a team-best 15.2 yards per reception (among players with 12 or more receptions this season), he is quarterback Matthew Stafford's big-play wide receiver, and he's on pace for a second straight 1,000-yard campaign.
3. QB Matthew Stafford
You're not going to consistently win games in the NFL when you score just one touchdown and settle for field goals for your other scores.
Just ask the Lions, who did exactly that this past Monday night in their 23-22 loss to Aaron Rodgers & Co.
Stafford finished with an underwhelming stat line of 18-for-32 passing for 265 yards and no touchdowns, and was clearly outperformed by Rodgers.
Rodgers finished 24-of-39 for 283 yards and two scores through the air, to go along with an interception.
Stafford, who sits at No. 9 in ESPN's Total QBR with a 59.4 rating, will need to perform better in order for the Lions to beat the Vikings on Sunday.
2. CB Darius Slay
After missing the Lions' Week 4 contest with the Chiefs, Slay was back in action on Monday night against the Pack.
The seventh-year pro finished with six total tackles, including four solo, in Detroit's loss to Green Bay.
Despite still battling a nagging hamstring injury, "Big Play" Slay is expected to play Sunday against Minnesota.
He will be matched up with Vikings go-to deep threat and speedster Stefon Diggs, who thrashed the Philadelphia Eagles for 167 yards and three scores a week ago.
Curtailing Diggs' ability to beat the Lions deep is one of the biggest keys to victory for Detroit in this pivotal NFC North divisional matchup.
1. CB Justin Coleman
Just like Slay, Coleman will be busy on Sunday.
The second-best slot corner in the game, according to Pro Football Focus, is expected to see an ample amount of snaps lined up against Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen.
Thielen, who's accounted for six total scores already this season (five receiving and one rushing), has lined up in the slot on over 33 percent of his routes through six games.
Coleman should be up for the challenge, though.
He’s allowed a very average passer rating of 80.7 on balls thrown his way, while facing the likes of MVP passers Patrick Mahomes and Rodgers.
If that's not good enough for you, there's also this: The fifth-year corner has been responsible for 10 passes defensed -- tied with New England Patriots All-Pro Stephon Gilmore for fourth-most in the league -- including three against the Packers.
Along with those three passes defensed, he intercepted a Rodgers pass at the beginning of the fourth quarter that bounced off intended receiver Darrius Shepherd’s facemask at the goal line.

It ended a likely Packers scoring drive, and led to a Prater FG that extended Detroit’s lead to 22-13.
Coleman, just like he has been much of this season, needs to be on his "A" game Sunday.
If he is, the Lions have a legit shot at knocking off the Vikings.
