Should Darius Slay Be Known as a Shutdown Corner?

Darius Slay is widely respected and regarded as one of the premier shutdown cornerbacks in the NFL.
Not so fast, though, according to Michael Stets of WJR.
Stets, a WJR Lions reporter, tweeted:
Darius Slay lets up a 33-yd completion and then gets beat and commits DPI. Yet #Lions fans and some media will still refer to him as a shutdown corner in the near future. SMH
Slay is known to be active on social media, and quickly replied to Stets and other fans questioning him.
