According to NFL pick watch, 97 percent of NFL analysts are predicting the Lions to be victorious against the Giants Sunday at Ford Field.

Overall, the Lions have a slight lead in the all-time series, 22-21-1. The last meeting occurred in September of 2017 and the Lions were victorious 24-10.

Against the Giants, the Lions will be looking to end a three-game losing streak and to change the course of their season.

Many predicted the Lion's win-loss record would be much worse at this point in the season.

With this portion of their schedule, the Lions must look to take advantage and defeat teams that are rebuilding like the Giants.

A Familiar Foe

Giants receiver Golden Tate was traded last season to the Eagles. The move seemed to trigger to many, including teammates, that the Lions were waving the white flag in Matt Patricia's first year.

Now, Tate is returning to face his old squad. He was one of Matthew Stafford's most reliable receivers in his four seasons in Detroit and is still known as the, "Yac King." He earned the nickname due to his propensity to earn yards after the catch.
