Everyone Agrees: NFL Referees Are Incompetent

Not that this is any breaking news. There has been a growing sentiment that the officiating in the NFL is subpar.
It's incompetent and it is ruining the sport.
Following the Lions 23-22 loss to the Packers, Twitter erupted as everyone watching noticed not one, but two phantom hands to the face calls go against the Lions.
Love to hear my man Booger call it like it is, and rip the refs, in real time with no stuttering and stammering. The officiating has been embarrassing all season, and again tonight...

The refs need to be investigated. This is horrendous. Check bank accounts. #NoExcuses

Surely, the @NFL will issue an apology to the Detroit Lions tomorrow morning and we’ll never see an abomination like tonight again. Wait. No, it’ll happen again. And again. And again.

Green Bay can thank the refs for that touchdown 🤦🏾♂️

This is the best I've seen Aaron Rodgers throw the ball in a long time.

That is sickening... the @NFL needs to look at a way to prevent that from happening. Two phantom hands to the face calls really hurts us tonight. Yes, we could have scored TDs, but @Lions played too well to have the game end this way. #DETvsGB @espn
