Bryce Young is in His Own Tier, According to Kyle Brandt

In this story:
It may not take long before Bryce Young is the best quarterback in the NFC South division and maybe even one of the best quarterbacks in the NFC. Much of the star power at the position is in the AFC, so a couple of strong seasons to begin his career could propel Young to the very top.
Many believe that the Panthers' No. 1 pick may already be the best quarterback in a division that features Derek Carr (Saints), Baker Mayfield (Buccaneers), and Desmond Ridder (Falcons). But NFL Network's Kyle Brandt is pumping the brakes on the hype train. In his newly released NFC QB tiers, he has Young at the very bottom, all by himself.

How is it that the number one overall pick is at the very bottom? Is he saying he believes Jordan Love, Sam Howell, and Desmond Ridder are more talented? Not quite.
To be fair, C.J. Stroud, Anthony Richardson, and Will Levis all rank at the bottom of Brandt's AFC QB tiers, so clearly he wants to see what these rookies who haven't played a snap in the NFL can do before he moves them ahead of anyone.
If we're going strictly off talent, I would have to throw Young in the fourth tier to begin his career. There's no doubt in my mind with the offensive line that he has protecting him and the weapons he has surrounding him, he can have a similar level of production to that of Daniel Jones, Justin Fields, and Kyler Murray in year one.
