With the Dallas Cowboys being eliminated from the playoffs on Sunday, defensive coordinator Dan Quinn is now free to begin interviewing for head coaching jobs around the league.

According to Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer, Quinn will interview for the Panthers' opening on Wednesday. He also has interviews set with the Tennessee Titans, Washington Commanders, and Los Angeles Chargers.

Quinn has been considered one of the top defensive coordinators in the NFL, dating back to his days with the Seattle Seahawks when they won the Super Bowl. Dallas' poor showing in Sunday's game against Green Bay is not expected to impact his chances of landing one of these head coaching jobs, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.

In just his second year as the head coach of the Atlanta Falcons, Quinn took them to the Super Bowl, the one where they blew a 28-3 lead against the New England Patriots. Quinn was relieved of his duties after five years and some change on the job, finishing with a record of 43-42.

This season, Quinn's Cowboys finished with the fifth-ranked defense (299.7 yapg), fifth in scoring defense (18.5 ppg), 16th in rushing defense (112.4 ypg), and fifth in passing (187.4 ypg).
