In this story:

Bryce Young is officially a Carolina Panther and now, the organization looks to address some other needs as we enter day two of the 2023 NFL Draft. The Panthers could go a number of ways but most feel, and I would agree, that they will target a pass-catcher or pass rusher in rounds two or three.

Before day two gets underway, here are the latest projections for the Panthers.

All Panthers on FanNation/Sports Illustrated

No. 39: EDGE Keion White, Georgia Tech

The Panthers do need to add another pass rusher and Keion White could very well still be on the board at No. 39. Very athletic, speedy edge that began his career as a tight end at Old Dominion. In three years on the defensive side, he's produced 120 tackles, 33.5 tackles for loss, and 11 sacks. He's also a native of Garner, NC, for what it's worth.

No. 93: WR A.T. Perry, Wake Forest

I initially had Jonathan Mingo going to Carolina in round three but with the early run on receivers, he won't last until 93. So since I have them going with a pass rusher at 39, I'll give Bryce Young some help here. Perry makes a lot of sense, even if it's a bit of a reach in the third round. If he works through the drop issues and becomes more consistent, he could be a quality No. 3.

Sports Illustrated
