What the ESPN FPI Says About the Panthers' Chances Against the Saints

In this story:
Carolina hung around deep into the second half in their Week 1 loss to the Atlanta Falcons despite turning the ball over three times which led to 17 points the other way. It wasn't the greatest outing for number one overall pick Bryce Young, who completed 52% of his passes for 146 yards.
The Saints struggled to run the ball against Tennessee, rushing for just 2.6 yards per attempt, totaling 69 yards on 27 carries. Derek Carr carried the load completing 23-of-33 pass attempts for 305 yards and hit Rashid Shaheed for a 19-yard touchdown late in the fourth quarter for the go-ahead score.
According to the ESPN FPI, the Panthers have a 38.3% chance to win while the Saints have a 61.4%.
The Saints have won five of the last seven meetings against the Panthers, but have dropped each of the last two in Carolina. For what it's worth, the Panthers have won four of the last five, including two straight when playing New Orleans at home in the month of September.
