In this story:

Panthers quarterback Bryce Young is coming off arguably the worst game of his rookie season where he completed just 36% of his passes. Despite the continued struggles, interim head coach Chris Tabor says there is no plan to make a change at the position and will move forward with Young as the guy so he can continue to develop.

Atlanta has had questions surrounding their quarterback situation seemingly since Arthur Smith took over the job. Desmond Ridder has had some ups and downs in his short career but threw for 347 yards last week in the one score loss to Tampa Bay.

For Carolina, this is likely their best chance to pick up another win of the remaining games on the schedule. The Falcons have struggled to score all season and have not played well on the road. Atlanta enters the matchup in a three-way tie for the top spot in the NFC South and can't afford to drop this one if they hope to stay in the mix.

Atlanta won the season opener against Carolina 24-10 - a game that was tied up at ten a piece heading to the fourth quarter.

According to the ESPN FPI, the Panthers have a 33.2% chance to win while the Falcons have a 66.5% chance.
