NFL Network's Adam Rank Predicts Each Game on the Panthers' 2023 Schedule

A winning season on deck for Carolina?

Can the Carolina Panthers secure their first winning season since 2017? NFL Network's Adam Rank believes so as he projected the Panthers to win nine games in a recent segment on NFL Total Access.

"I think this Panthers team is going to be a lot better than people are giving them credit for. Nine wins for the Panthers. I think nine wins is a pretty good barometer."

How Rank sees it:

Wins: Saints, Seahawks, Vikings, Texans, Colts, Titans, Falcons, Packers, Buccaneers.

Losses: Falcons, Lions, Dolphins, Bears, Cowboys, Buccaneers, Saints, Jaguars.

How I see it:

For once, I actually agree with a national analyst's opinion. I have Carolina going 10-7 but have a slightly different avenue for them getting there. I don't see them losing to Chicago or Tampa Bay but I do expect them to lose consecutive games to Seattle and Minnesota in the first month of the season.

Regardless of how they get there, reaching the nine-win mark will be a huge step forward for this franchise, especially in year one with a new coaching staff and a rookie quarterback. It only took eight wins for Tampa Bay to win the NFC South a year ago and with Tom Brady no longer at the helm, nine wins could be enough for Carolina to earn their first division crown since 2015.
