Panthers Restructure Contract of Xavier Woods

In this story:
The Panthers have already restructured the contracts of right tackle Taylor Moton and right guard Austin Corbett and have now restructured safety Xavier Woods. According to OverTheCap, the move will save Carolina roughly $1.6 million in cap space.
Woods signed a three-year, $15 million contract with Carolina last offseason and had a big impact in year one. The veteran recorded 86 tackles, six pass breakups, two fumble recoveries, and one QB hit.
The Panthers now have $9.4 million in available cap space. More restructures are likely on the way ahead of the start of free agency which begins next week.
