In this story:

Things aren't looking too hot for the Carolina Panthers as they sit at 0-6 at the bye week. Fortunately, the schedule appears to get a little easier out of the bye, on paper that is.

How many wins will Carolina finish the season with? Let's run through it game-by-game.

vs. Houston Texans

This is a winnable game but I get the feeling that CJ Stroud will have a big day against the team that passed on him in the draft, sending Panther fans into a deep state of frustration on social media.

Prediction: Loss

Record would be: 0-7

vs. Indianapolis Colts

Frank Reich picks up his first win as Panthers head coach against the team he was fired from. How about that?

Prediction: Win

Record would be: 1-7

at Chicago Bears

Don't look now, but are the Panthers getting hot? Well, not necessarily. The Bears are a bad football team and by this point, Bryce Young should be in a groove.

Prediction: Win

Record would be: 2-7

vs. Dallas Cowboys

After two weeks of good vibes in the Carolinas, the Cowboys and their transplant fans from all over the Carolinas flood Bank of America Stadium and help their team down the Panthers.

Prediction: Loss

Record would be: 2-8

at Tennessee Titans

I went back and forth on this one because I could see Tennessee trading away some of its biggest assets at the deadline. If the roster remains together, I'll lean with the Titans in a close game.

Prediction: Loss

Record would be: 2-9

at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Panthers have lost five of the last six games in Tampa Bay. Make it six of the last seven.

Prediction: Loss

Record would be: 2-10

at New Orleans Saints

The Saints are going to be battling for a playoff spot and can't afford to slip up at home against the Panthers. New Orleans wins this one convincingly.

Prediction: Loss

Record would be: 2-11

vs. Atlanta Falcons

Carolina returns home seeking revenge against Atlanta and they get it. In round two, Bryce Young pieces together his best day as a rookie and throws for over 300 yards in the win.

Prediction: Win

Record would be: 3-11

vs. Green Bay Packers

At some point, the Packers are going to fall apart. And when they do, they're going to struggle to win games away from Lambeau Field. Give me Carolina.

Prediction: Win

Record would be: 4-11

at Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jags are a really good football team. There's no shame in losing to one of the top eight or so teams in the NFL. The Panthers put up a good fight but fall short.

Prediction: Loss

Record would be: 4-12

vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

After a long, painful start to the season for Bryce Young and Frank Reich, they cap it off with a divisional win that is part of a stretch where they win three of four to end the season.

Prediction: Win

Record would be: 5-12
