The Panthers come oh so close to picking up their first win of the season. I actually think this is a good opportunity for Bryce Young to get on track with his receivers and put the ball in the end zone, but inconsistent play up front and in the run game lead to yet another loss. Panthers drop to 0-4.
Ian Black: Vikings 27, Panthers 21
The Vikings' defense has been porous through their first three games, so this is Bryce Young and Carolina’s best chance so far this season to build some rhythm and confidence. With that said, the Vikings offense is still deceptively tough to keep up with, so this should be a closer game as both teams search for their first win. The Vikings have the edge, but this is a winnable matchup for the Panthers.
Tyler Ball: Panthers 20, Vikings 17
Frank Reich could choose to remain aggressive in the passing game to take advantage of the Vikings' weak secondary and take more shots downfield. WR1 Adam Thielen has a competitive chip on his shoulder going head to head against his old team, expect him to bring in some impressive numbers if he isn’t double-covered the entire game.
