In this story:

Very few have the level of success that Greg Olsen had on the football field and there's even a smaller group of people that can be just as elite in the TV booth. The Carolina Panthers' legend has made a seamless transition from one of the top tight ends in the NFL to one of the best color analysts the game has to offer.

Olsen joined FOX's broadcasting team full-time in 2021 and by year two, he and Kevin Burkhardt bumped up to the No. 1 team, replacing Joe Buck and Troy Aikman who departed for ESPN.

Because of his success, Olsen has been nominated for a Sports Emmy for Outstanding Personality/Emerging On-Air Talent. Other nominees include Andraya Carter (ESPN, ABC, SEC Network); Robert Griffin III (ESPN); Eli Manning (ESPN, ESPN+), and JJ Redick (ESPN, ABC).

The 44th Annual Sports Emmy Awards will take place at Lincoln Center in New York on Monday, May 22.
