Former Browns QB Worked Out for Panthers Tuesday

In this story:
According to ESPN's Field Yates, former Vikings quarterback Kellen Mond worked out for the Carolina Panthers on Tuesday afternoon.
Mond, 26, was drafted out of Texas A&M by the Minnesota Vikings in 2021. The former Aggie spent his rookie year as the third string quarterback behind Kirk Cousins and Sean Mannion.
He was cut by Minnesota in August of 2022 and spent last season with the Cleveland Browns.
With rookie quarterback Bryce Young's status for week three up in the air and practice squad quarterback Jake Luton being signed by New Orleans, there is a hole at quarterback for the Panthers.
Will Bryce Young Return to Practice This Week?
Mond worked out on the same day as Bryce Perkins as Carolina tries to find their next quarterback to run the practice squad.
