BREAKING: Panthers Agree to Deal with DT Shy Tuttle

The free agency frenzy is officially underway in Carolina as the Panthers' first move is signing defensive tackle Shy Tuttle to a three-year, $19.5 million deal, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Tuttle, 27, spent the first four years of his career with the New Orleans Saints.
This past season, Tuttle recorded 49 tackles, five pass breakups, three QB hits, two sacks, one tackle for loss in 17 games (14 starts). So far for his career, Tuttle has notched 143 tackles, 14 pass breakups, nine tackles for loss, eight QB hits, and four sacks.
Tuttle is a Lexington, NC native and played his high school ball at North Davidson.
