The Carolina Panthers elevated defensive lineman Chris Wormley and offensive lineman Gabe Jackson from the practice squad on Saturday for this week's road game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Wormley signed to the Panthers' practice squad in mid-September and has appeared in two games for Carolina this season, registering one tackle. In 13 games with the Steelers last season, Wormley recorded 29 tackles, three tackles for loss, one QB hit, 0.5 sacks, and one forced fumble.

Jackson, 32, has started 130 games in his career, spending time with the Raiders (2014-20) and the Seahawks (2021-22).

Interim head coach Chris Tabor did note Friday that they plan on rolling with the same five on the offensive line from last week - Ikem Ekwonu, Justin McCray, Bradley Bozeman, Nash Jensen, and Taylor Moton.
