Cam Newton Progressed Tremendously in Minicamp

One of the biggest offseason questions for the Carolina Panthers was the health of Cam Newton -- who is coming off of his second shoulder surgery.
Some of those questions were answered in the team's mandatory minicamp this week. Newton began throwing publicly for the first time since last season, and his progress in three days was incredible.
He began the first day with stationary passes -- while he worked on a new throwing motion.

On the second day, he was able to extend his range of passes, while also throwing to moving targets. Once again, his new mechanics looked tight and they provided accurate throws.

On day three, he was moving around in the pocket and throwing to moving targets again.

There is less than three months until the Panthers suit up for Week 1 of the NFL season -- and their quarterback is on par for a full recovery. With a healthy Cam, this improved Panthers team has a real shot at being a contender.
