In this story:

It's been that kind of season for the Carolina Panthers, particularly for the offensive line which has seen a bunch of different combinations thanks to injuries.

On the very first play from scrimmage in Sunday afternoon's game against the New Orleans Saints, starting left guard Justin McCray suffered a calf injury and was carted off the field. The team has listed him as doubtful to return.

Second-year man Cade Mays will fill in his place.
