Week 8 Odds: Panthers vs. Texans

In this story:

Fresh off the bye week, the Carolina Panthers look to turn their season around when they host the Houston Texans this Sunday.

Naturally, all of the attention will be on Bryce Young and C.J. Stroud who were the first two picks of last year's draft. There are also some rumors around the league that Panthers head coach Frank Reich actually wanted Stroud, but that's something we may never truly know the answer to.

Reich is, however, high on Young and believes he has made progress with each start. Could the timely bye week be all this team needed to get things figured out?

According to SI Sportsbook, the Texans are 3.5-point favorites over the Panthers. The total currently sits at 41.5.
