BREAKING: Panthers Sign Outside Linebacker Justin Houston

In this story:
Sunday evening, the Carolina Panthers finally addressed the outside linebacker position by signing veteran Justin Houston to a one-year deal, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Houston spent two years with head coach Frank Reich in Indianapolis (2019-20) after spending the first eight seasons of his career with the Kansas City Chiefs. Last season with the Baltimore Ravens, Houston totaled 21 tackles, 17 QB hits, 9.5 sacks, and nine tackles for loss in 14 games.
"Since Marquis [Haynes Sr.] got hurt, we've been having those discussions," Reich said earlier this week about the possibility of adding an outside linebacker. "Don't want to jump the gun early, really want to see how it worked out with Marquis but keeping a pulse on that."
For his career, Houston has recorded 506 tackles, 182 QB hits, 130 tackles for loss, and 111.5 sacks.
