Did Bryce Young Retrieve His First NFL Touchdown Ball?

In this story:

In my preseason predictions article, I predicted tight end Hayden Hurst to be the recipient of Bryce Young's first touchdown pass. What I didn't predict was that Hurst would make the catch and then launch the ball into the stands.

Fortunately, Bryce Young didn't take it to heart. He complimented some of his teammates who helped him prepare for celebrating that moment and he didn't seem all that worried about where the ball ended up as long as it crossed the goal line.

"We have a great quarterback room that took that choice out of my hands. They accounted for that, so that's not where my focus was at. We have a good group of guys that think for things like that.

Shortly after the game, Hurst provided an update on Twitter (X), stating that the ball was in good hands and explained what happened after the play.
