NFC Power Rankings - Week 7

In this story:
Every week, All Panthers publisher Schuyler Callihan will release a fresh set of NFC Power Rankings. Here is how he views the conference after six weeks of play.
This week's rankings (last week's rank if changed)
16. Carolina Panthers
Carolina took everyone by surprise with a fast 14-0 start in Miami, but it didn't last long.
15. Arizona Cardinals
If it wasn't for a fluke win over Dallas, Arizona would be tied for last place.
14. New York Giants
New York had several opportunities to defeat the Bills even with Tyrod Taylor at quarterback. Just came up short.
13. Chicago Bears (12)
If Fields doesn't get hurt, there's a chance the Bears beat Minnesota.
12. Atlanta Falcons (8)
Is it time for a QB change in Atlanta? Arthur Smith has to at least consider it.
11. Green Bay Packers
Bye week.
10. Washington Commanders (13)
Desmond Ridders sure helped out Washington with three picks in this week's game. They get a slight bump, but I'm not so sure they're trending up.
9. New Orleans Saints (6)
The Saints just simply can't score. Carr throws for 353 but only put up 13 points against Houston. Ouch.
8. Los Angeles Rams (10)
The Rams have had a difficult schedule but they've managed to go .500 through the first six games.
7. Minnesota Vikings (9)
I don't know when, I don't know how, but at some point, the Vikings' offense is going to turn the corner. For now, they'll live with an ugly win over Chicago.
6. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (5)
The Bucs' offense could not stay on the field to save their life. 2/12 on 3rd down attempts played a big factor in having the ball for 13 minutes less than Detroit.
5. Dallas Cowboys (7)
Will the real Cowboys please stand up? Is this team good? Are they bad? Who knows. It changes from week to week.
4. Seattle Seahawks (3)
A loss on the road to Cincinnati isn't a big deal. Geno had an off day throwing two picks which didn't help the cause.
3. Detroit Lions (4)
Detroit just keeps finding ways to win games. They can outscore you in a shootout and they proved last week they can beat you in a slugfest.
2. San Francisco 49ers
The Niners are dealing with some injuries but they shouldn't have lost to a P.J. Walker-led Browns team. I nearly dropped them to three, but overall, they're still the second-best in the NFC.
1. Philadelphia Eagles
Fortunately for the Eagles, the two teams behind them lost as well. Bad game from Jalen Hurts and the offense but they are still the top team in the NFC, in my eyes.
