Panthers Waive DL Bravvion Roy, Sign Free Agent

Monday morning, the Carolina Panthers waived defensive lineman Bravvion Roy and signed free agent defensive lineman LaBryan Ray to keep the roster at 90.
Roy was a sixth-round pick of the Panthers in 2020, meaning he played for former Panthers coach Matt Rhule at Baylor and then followed him to Carolina. During his three years in the organization, Roy accumulated 76 tackles, 8 QB hits, five pass breakups, three tackles for loss, one interception, and a sack.
As for Ray, he played his college ball at Alabama from 2017-21 and totaled 76 tackles, 14 tackles for loss, and 6.5 sacks. He went undrafted in 2022 before signing with the New England Patriots where he spent the season on the practice squad. Most recently, Ray was with the Philadelphia Eagles.
