In this story:

Following the Kansas City Chiefs win over the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LVII, the draft order for the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft is set.

You may notice that there are only 31 picks in the first round this year, compared to the normal 32. That is because of the Miami Dolphins being forced to forfeit their first round pick following an investigation into whether the organization violated league policies pertaining to the integrity of the game. This was centered around the team violating league tampering rules with QB Tom Brady and former Saints head coach Sean Payton. The dolphins also lost a 2024 third-round pick and team owner Stephen Ross was suspended from early August through October 17th.
