Falcons Request Permission to Interview Ejiro Evero for Head Coaching Job

In this story:
Carolina Panthers defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero is going to be someone who draws a lot of interest in this year's head coaching cycle and years moving forward thanks to a pair of stellar seasons with Denver and Carolina.
According to Joe Person of The Athletic, NFC South division rival Atlanta Falcons have submitted a request to interview Evero for their head coaching position.
As much as the Panthers would like to reject this "request" they can not prevent a coach from interviewing for a job that would be a promotion. They can, however, block a request if it is for a lateral position or lower which is what they did earlier this week when the Jacksonville Jaguars asked to speak with Evero about their defensive coordinator opening.
Evero will also get an interview with David Tepper for the Panthers' head coaching job.
