Greg Olsen Compares Dan Morgan to Dan Campbell

In this story:
There are many reasons the Carolina Panthers have struggled over the last handful of years. Constant coaching changes, quarterback carousel, offensive line issues, youth, and maybe one of the more overlooked problems - a lack of an identity.
With Dan Morgan now leading the front office as the team's GM, you can expect that to change.
During a recent guest appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, former Panthers tight end Greg Olsen likened Morgan to Detroit Lions' head coach, Dan Campbell.
"His playing career, he was known as the most intense, physical...I mean, his demeanor on the field is known throughout the history. If you know of Dan Morgan, you're like, that dude was a dog. That dude was different. He was mean, he was tough. There's a little Dan Campbell persona there. When you strip all of that down, of all the coaches we've met with over the last couple years, Dan Campbell is as thoughtful, as intelligent, as good of a communicator as anybody we've met. Dan (Morgan)'s got a lot of that. When you strip that down and you remove the playing days and remove the MIKE linebacker that wanted to rip your face off, Dan is a really intelligent guy. He's a highly respected guy. This dude is highly intelligent, great communicator, great evaluator of talent. I see a lot of parallels and similarities."
