Former Panthers Offensive Coordinator Gets Promoted in Buffalo

In this story:
After losing 24-22 to the Denver Broncos on Monday Night Football, the Buffalo Bills fired offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey and promoted Joe Brady to interim coordinator.
Both the departed Dorsey and promoted Brady have ties to Carolina.
After retiring from the Canadian Football League in 2010, Dorsey joined the Panthers’ staff as a pro scout in 2011, serving in that role for two seasons. From there, he was promoted to quarterbacks coach from 2013-2017 before getting fired alongside offensive coordinator Mike Shula. Dorsey spent two years away from coaching until he was offered a job as the quarterbacks coach in Buffalo under current head coach and former Panthers defensive coordinator Sean McDermott.
In January, Dorsey interviewed for the Panthers’ vacant head coaching position.
Brady, Dorsey’s replacement, was hired in 2020 straight from LSU to coordinate the Carolina Panthers’ offense under former head coach Matt Rhule. Brady was fired from Carolina on December 5th, 2021.
He was hired in February of 2022 as a quarterbacks coach in Buffalo and he has worked in that position until this recent promotion.
