Panthers Place OL Austin Corbett on PUP List, Announce Several Roster Cuts

As expected, the Carolina Panthers placed right guard Austin Corbett on the reserve/physically unable to perform (PUP) list Tuesday morning, ruling him out for at least the first four games of the season. The team also placed defensive lineman Henry Anderson on injured reserve.
In addition, the following players have officially been released:
RB Spencer Brown, WR Josh Vann, WR Javon Wims, WR Shi Smith, OL Justin McCray, OL Michael Jordan, OL Deonte Brown, OL Sam Tecklenburg, OL JD DiRenzo, DL Raequan Williams, LB Eku Leota, LB Kobe Jones, LB Jordan Thomas, LB Deion Jones, LB Brandon Smith, LB Ace Eley, CB Keith Taylor, CB Stantley Thomas-Oliver III, CB Herb Miller, CB Mac McCain, CB Mark Milton, and S Eric Rowe.
