Panthers Place OL Brady Christensen on Injured Reserve

In this story:
Another piece of Carolina's offensive line unit now resides on injured reserve. Wednesday morning, starting left guard Brady Christensen was placed on IR with a biceps injury that he suffered late in the season opener against Atlanta. He played through it, but will now miss at least the next four games.
Rookie Chandler Zavala started Week 1 at right guard but played much of his collegiate career at left guard. Undrafted free agent Nash Jensen and the versatile Cade Mays will also be in the mix to start. The team also has former Saint Calvin Throckmorton, who has played multiple positions since entering the league.
In additional moves, Carolina placed CB Stantley Thomas-Oliver III (hamstring) on practice squad IR and released running back Spencer Brown. They did add a receiver in Michael Strachan, who appeared in 19 games with the Indianapolis Colts over the last two seasons.
