In this story:
Carolina Panthers outside linebacker Brian Burns suffered an elbow injury during a practice this week which caused him to be a limited participant on Thursday and a DNP for Friday's practice.
The good news is, it appears Burns is on track to play this afternoon against the Houston Texans. According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Burns is "likely" to play despite not being 100%.
#Panthers star pass-rusher Brian Burns, who suffered an elbow injury in Thursday's practice, is likely to go today, source said. He won't be 100%, but he's pushing to play. Meanwhile, LB Frankie Luvu (hip) is listed as questionable and expected to go.
