Troy Hill Set to Return to Panthers

In this story:
The Carolina Panthers are set to bring back veteran cornerback Troy Hill on a one-year deal, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network. Further details of the deal are unknown at this point.
In sixteen games this past season (three starts), Hill recorded 48 tackles, six passes defended, three tackles for loss, one forced fumble, and an interception.
Hill excelled in his role as the nickel but also played on the outside at times as well, when needed. With the team expected to part ways in one way or another with Donte Jackson, re-signing Hill had to get done.
Carolina will still look to add to the position group, particularly someone who can replace Jackson on the outside thus keeping Hill in his role.
The 32-year-old has been in the league since 2015 and has totaled 382 tackles, 40 passes defended, and nine interceptions in his career.
