Battle Between Rookie Tight Ends this Sunday

In this story:
This Sunday will have two rookie draft picks facing against each other as the Las Vegas Raiders take on the Buffalo Bills.
Michael Mayer of the Raiders will be facing off against Bills rookie tight end Dalton Kincaid of the Bills. These rookies were at the top of their class in this year's 2023 NFL Draft.
Both tight ends played in their first-ever regular-season game last weekend. They are preparing and getting ready to suit up for their second game this Sunday as the Raiders play the Bills in Orchard Park, N.Y.
Kincaid was the first tight end taken in this year's 2023 NFL Draft, as the Bills selected him 25th overall in the first round.
The Las Vegas native, Kincaid played his college ball at Utah, playing 31 games in his career with the Utes. In his three seasons, he made with 107 receptions for 1,414 and 16 touchdowns.
On the other side, Raiders rookie tight end Mayer played his college ball at Notre Dame. The second-round draft pick played a total of 36 games with the Fighting Irish finishing his college career with 180 total receptions for 2,099 yards and 18 touchdowns.
Both rookie tight ends finished their first regular season game with the same stats, four receptions for 26 yards.
It will be worth watching to see who finishes as the best rookie tight end this season, after No. 86 Kincaid faces No. 87 Mayer.
The Silver and Black remain on the road this week as they travel to play the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, Sept. 17, at 1:05 p.m. EDT/10:05 a.m. PDT.
