The Las Vegas Raiders are hosting another defensive back as part of their pre-draft Top-30 visits.

NFL insider Ian Rapoport confirmed on Thursday that Penn State cornerback Joey Porter Jr. has the Raiders on his list for Top-30 visits. He visited the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday.

Porter was a standout member of Penn State's secondary and arguably the best at his position in the Big Ten.

The prospect comes off an impressive 2022 campaign in which he was particularly successful in pass coverage, finishing the season with 11 pass breakups. He added 27 tackles, a fumble recovery, and a quarterback hit.

Porter's final season with the Nittany Lions earned him All-Big Ten First Team honors. He was named a second-team All-American by the American Football Coaches Association, Associated Press, the Football Writers of Association of America, the Walter Camp Football Foundation and CBS Sports.

In addition, Porter was named third-team All-Big Ten by the coaches and honorable mention by the media for the 2021 season after totaling 51 tackles, four breakups, a forced fumble and an interception.

The 2023 NFL Draft will go from April 27-29 and be held at Union Station in Kansas City, Mo. The 2023 NFL Year and Free Agency period began at 4 p.m. EDT on March 15.

The Raiders are expected to be significant players in the free-agent market this offseason.
