The Las Vegas Raiders have added another former Los Angeles Chargers executive to their administration.

The Raiders announced on Monday that JoJo Wooden is their new  Senior Director of Player Personnel.

Wooden last served as the Chargers' Interim General Manager after the club fired Tom Telesco, who, of course, now is the Raiders' General Manager.

Before his promotion, Wooden served as the Chargers' Director of Player Personnel, a role he held since 2013.

Wooden previously spent 16 seasons with the New York Jets, starting in 1997. He began as a Pro Personnel Assistant and was then promoted to senior AFC Pro Scout in 2001.

In 2003, Wooden was named Assistant Director of Pro Scouting before becoming the Director of Pro Scouting the next year, a role he held for three seasons.

In 2007, the Jets named Wooden as their Assistant Director of Player Personnel. He held that title for the final six seasons he was with the organization.

Wooden played outside linebacker at Syracuse from 1989-93 after redshirting his first season with the program. He would go undrafted and was signed by the Phoenix Cardinals (now Arizona Cardinals) but did not make the final roster.

Fresh off his playing career, Wooden became an assistant coach at Simsbury High School. The following year, he joined American International College as an assistant coach, a role he held for three seasons.

Wooden played with his older brother, Terry, at Syracuse. Terry Wooden went on to be selected by the Seattle Seahawks in the second round of the 1990 NFL Draft. He played for Seattle for seven seasons before having one-year stints with the Kansas City Chiefs and the Raiders. Now, he a scout for the New Orleans Saints.

The NFL Draft will be held in Detroit, Mich., on April 25-27, 2024. The Las Vegas Raiders currently hold the No. 13 overall pick.
